Now in its 42nd season, the Elora Festival has established a reputation as Canada’s international choral festival, presenting world-class choirs and vocal ensembles over three weeks in July in the artists village of Elora, “Ontario’s most beautiful village”.
The festival’s ensemble-in-residence is The Elora Singers, one of Canada’s finest professional chamber choirs.
The choir performs throughout the three weeks of the festival, both with solo concerts and in collaboration with guest artists and ensembles.
The Elora Festival and The Elora Singers are both led by Artistic Director Mark Vuorinen.
“The last fifteen months have been a difficult time for the cultural community around the world. The absence of live performance during the pandemic has been deeply felt by all of us. We’re very excited to share these programs by The Elora Singers and all of our extraordinary guest artists to bring a little joy and hope to our audience. While we all long for the opportunity to perform live again, by holding our festival online this year we are able to present an exciting lineup of international ensembles and other wonderful guest artists.”
